This year, we became participants in the international exhibition Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris, which was held in Paris under the auspices of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. The event took place from February 13 to 15, 2023.

We presented six Ukrainian wineries, whose wines became “ambassadors”, winners of the Ukrainian Wine Ambassador 2022.

Results and achievements

For the first time in the history of the exhibition, Ukrainian producers were presented under the Wine of Ukraine brand. This is an important step in scaling up the promotion of our wine on the European market. Thanks to successful communication, Ukraine got the opportunity to enter retail chains, wine shops, wine shops and restaurants in Belgium, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Poland. We have established direct contacts with distributors, restaurateurs and sommeliers in Europe and the USA. Ukrainian wine received a lot of positive reviews from foreign journalists and wine bloggers. People write and talk about our product! And this is already a success. It was also possible to renew the directions of cooperation with leading scientific institutions.

Specific goals and steps in the development of the popularization of Ukrainian wine in Europe have been established.

In addition, the General Director of Ukrvinprom — Volodymyr Kucherenko — during the exhibition met with representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Ministry of Agriculture of France, the Director General of the OIV, and the Secretary General of the European Wine Committee. Important meetings that change the course of development of the Ukrainian wine industry for the better.

Ukrainian wine in Europe 

Such events are an important step for the development and popularization of Ukrainian wine in Europe. Showing, telling and spreading our product is important. The wine industry occupies a considerable place in the budget-forming component. We have to support and scale.
