On April 10, an offline/online meeting of the Board of Directors of Ukrvinprom was held, which took place in an extended format.

The meeting was opened by Mykola Solskyi Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine “We support the work of Ukrvinprom and we are waiting for your proposals on combating falsification and on the development of regulatory documentation on the protection of Wine of Ukraine” – said the Minister.

Head of the State Production and Consumer Service, Serhiy Tkachuk, who said, “In order to preserve the quality of Ukrainian wine, we must show the consumer the production chain from the vineyard to the bottle.”

Director of the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation, Olena Orlyuk, emphasized: “The office makes maximum efforts to develop and support the national producer with tools in the field of intellectual property rights protection in the context of European integration.”

Vasyl Ivancho, First Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, “I am confident that the registration of the geographical indication “Wines of Transcarpathia” will also give a certain impetus to the development of winemaking.”
He expressed his readiness to promote and help the implementation of industry control and Acting State innovative financial and credit institution – official Sergii Shkurakov.

✅A number of important issues for the development of the viticulture and wine-making industry were put on the agenda:
– Control on the domestic market of grapes and wine quality, methods of preventing falsification
– Issues regarding the introduction of sanctions against enterprises of countries that support the aggressor country
– Questions regarding the extension of the transition period for the geographical indication of Cognac/Cognac for domestic producers
– Issues regarding national regulation of relations with trade networks

🤝The Memorandum on cooperation between the Odesa regional state (military) administration, the Odesa regional council on ensuring the development of viticulture and winemaking in Ukraine was re-signed.

Head of the Odesa Regional Council Hryhoriy Didenko noted that “I am sure that the Memorandum signed today between us is the result of fruitful cooperation in the organization of joint projects aimed at the development of the viticulture and winemaking industry”, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper thanked the grape growers and winemakers for their commitment today show and emphasized “Our task is to remove unscrupulous manufacturers.”
