SHABO is in Finland!
This is already the twenty-first country on the winery’s export map. They managed to enter the market of one of the most demanding countries regarding the rules for the sale of alcohol. Wines from the Original, Reserve and Modern Collection collections have already filled the shelves of Finnish Alko chain stores.
It was a difficult path.

Finland has a specific alcohol sales system. Such products can only be sold through Alko, an independent company owned by the state and managed and controlled by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. They have restrictions on the sales schedule and even days of the week. And to enter this complex market, any manufacturer must go through a multi-stage tender with a corresponding request from Alko. This process can take up to 30 weeks from the time of application to the final results. And the entry to the market itself takes place in another 2-3 months.

It was the first time in Alko’s history that such a request was made for Ukrainian wines. Sending samples, tastings, going through tenders and all the bureaucratic intricacies of concluding contracts, etc. — all this continued from the fall of 2022. But everything worked out!

Residents and guests of Finland will now be able to taste Chardonnay and Cabernet from the Original Collection, Pinot Grigio and Cabernet from the Reserve Collection, and the 5-star Modern Collection brandy.
