On March 12, in Ternopil, one of the most interesting cities of Ukraine, the event “Symphony of flavors: uniting cultures through Argentinian meat and Wine of Ukraine” was held. It was organized on the initiative of Embajada de la República Argentina en Ukraina – the Embassy of Argentina and with the partner support of GDIP Media Center, Ukrvinprom, the Argentine-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Podolyan shopping center.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine Elena Leticia Mikusinski noted the significant contribution of each partner. Tetyana Chubak, director of development of the Podolyan shopping center, Volodymyr Kucherenko, general director of Ukrvinprom, and Inna Khomenska from SE “GDIP” delivered congratulatory speeches on the occasion of the opening of the event.

The event was complex and covered several events at once. It was opened with a screening of the cartoon “Super Team” by Argentine director Juan Jose Campanella. The guests had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Argentine and Ukrainian cultures, to see their peculiarities. Thus, the photo exhibition “Argentina through the eyes of female artists” was opened, and for the first time in the city of Ternopil, Ukrvinprom presented a photo exhibition
“Vine and Wine in Resistance”, during which guests were able to see how Ukraine’s viticulture and winemaking industry witnessed a full-scale invasion by the Russian invaders in February 2022. They also showed a film about the history of winemaking in Ukraine, about the achievements of our producers despite the war.

The entire event was accompanied by a tasting of the best Ukrainian wines in combination with Argentine meat, which was conducted by the charming and fragile Khrystyna Zhukorska, a member of the Association of Sommeliers of Ukraine, a member of the jury of the All-Ukrainian selection of wine ambassadors 2022 and a great professional in her field.

At the end, the Charity Auction of Wines of Ukraine was held, conducted by Volodymyr Kucherenko, General Director of Ukrvinprom, and Sergiy Nizhynskyi, Head of Help Heroes Of Ukraine, during which 180,000 UAH were collected and the collection for charging stations for 32 separate mechanized brigades of the Company of unmanned attack systems of the Kupyan district was closed.

The lots of the auction were collector’s wines from the own collection of the general director of Ukrvinprom, in particular wines from enterprises that were affected at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and one lot of Wine Kolonist limited edition with a specially designed label that reflects the events of February 2022.
