Results of the II All-Ukrainian Selection of Ambassador Wines 2023

The Ukrainian Сorporation for Viticulture and Wine Production Industry “Ukrvinprom,” the leading association in the Ukrainian winemaking industry, uniting grape and wine product manufacturers from various regions of Ukraine, along with the Embassy of Ukraine in France, organized the presentation “Vine & Wine in Resistance” and a Ukrainian Wine Ambassador tasting event for special guests and representatives of the Association of Foreign Journalists at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Paris, formerly owned by Ukraine’s esteemed friend, Alain Delon.

This event signifies a significant leap forward for Ukrainian winemaking and the establishment of an international image as a winemaking nation. The gathering was held to support Ukrainian producers and ensure the long-term representation of Ukrainian wine as part of the world’s cultural heritage. This project marks the next phase in collaboration between the Ukrainian winemaking industry and accredited foreign journalists from Japan to Canada, with the aim of promoting Ukrainian wines.

Official representatives of the intergovernmental International Organization of Vine and Wine were also in attendance, as well as Mr. Jean Lanotte, the newly appointed Agricultural Counselor of France in Ukraine. Mr. Lanotte, in turn, familiarized himself with the grape and wine industry, which holds a unique place among all sectors of Ukraine’s agriculture.

In conjunction with the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the “Ukrvinprom” corporation showcased the industry’s accomplishments through video materials, providing a visual narrative of winemakers’ lives at the onset of the invasion, the consequences of the invasion, and the gradual recovery of business activities.

Participants of the event had the opportunity to savor the Ukrainian Wine Ambassadors’ wines from Ukrainian producers who contributed their products:
